Our History

1985: Founding Years

CMS was founded by Dr. Eleanor Richardson with just 35 students and 5 teachers in a small building downtown. Our focus was on personalized education from the very beginning.

1992: First Expansion

Moved to our current 25-acre campus, adding science labs and a library. Enrollment grew to 200 students as our reputation for academic excellence spread.

2001: Technology Integration

Pioneered the "One Computer Per Student" initiative, becoming one of the first schools in the region to fully integrate technology into the curriculum.

2010: International Recognition

Received the International School Award for our global partnerships program, establishing exchange programs with schools in 5 countries.

2018: STEM Innovation Center

Opened our state-of-the-art STEM center with robotics lab, maker spaces, and innovation studios to prepare students for future careers.

2023: Present Day

Now serving 1,200 students with 150 faculty members, offering 28 AP courses, and maintaining a 100% college acceptance rate for our graduates.
